I’ve got three upcoming Falls Prevention Workshops — and they’re not in Chichester!
They’re friendly, practical sessions to help you feel steadier and more confident, without having to take up extreme sports (or buy any gym kit you’ll never use).
Southbourne – Tuesday 3 February 2026 · 2:00pm–4:00pm
Midhurst – Tuesday 3 March 2026 · 2:00pm–4:00pm
Loxwood – Tuesday 17 March 2026 · 2:00pm–4:00pm
If you’ve had a fall, started worrying about falling, or you’re feeling a bit less steady than you used to, these sessions are for you.
I have worked with older adults on strength, balance, and confidence with everyday movement for over 15 years and delivering this workshop for about 6 years.
Everything I do is designed to feel doable and relevant to real life, not perfect or performance-based.
What we’ll cover
-
Simple ways to reduce your risk of falling (without overthinking it)
-
Common home hazards to look out for (yes, including the “innocent” rug)
-
Six easy strength + balance exercises you can repeat at home
Options for seated or supported versions are always available -
What to do if a fall does happen, including practical next steps
You’ll leave with:
-
a few small changes you can make straight away
-
a simple exercise plan you can repeat at home
-
a clearer idea of what helps (and what doesn’t)
No pressure, no judgement, and plenty of time for questions. Wear comfy clothes and supportive shoes, and bring a water bottle if you’d like.
